The strata exposed are the Permian Cutler undifferentiated (past bend in road at far right of photo), Triassic Moenkopi Formation, the Triassic Chinle Formation and the Jurassic Wingate Sandstone. Sections of the Moenkopi Formation were measured below Pariott Mesa and Castleton Tower.
